The more I see.
The less the world impassions me.”
"I love birds!!"

Poor babies :C For those who do not know, this is actually VERY common and done EVERYDAY to baby chicks. The chicks you see in the gif are all males. Chicken breeds have each been selectively bred through the years to become better and more efficient at one thing, whether it be egg production, meat production, or for show. Same with other livestock, like dairy vs meat cows, etc.. Anyway, egg-laying males were not bred to produce enough weight to reach market value, so there really is no money-making in keeping all these males of an egg-laying breed. So they are killed instantly like this and there are other methods, too. So yah, just thought I’d explain why those chicks are going through an industrial blender. It’s messed up and disgusting but it can’t be helped. To the people who run these facilities, it’s business. The animals are killed instantly and the companies would lose money if they housed and fed all these male layer breeds that could never produce enough meat for the market. So in a sense, it’s understandable why they’d do this for the egg production industry but the animal-loving part of me feels grossed out because these are living, breathing animals that have not even lived 72 hours. Poor baby chickens.
This is not a bit understandable or needed. It CAN be helped, simply STOP consuming eggs. How many people would find it “Ok” or “understandable” if these were dogs/cats/parrots? I’m sure mostly no one. Why? because YOU dont get anything from it, so it’s wrong.
Now, if you want to eat a thing you absolutely DONT need in your diet, it’s ok to rape chickens every week, mass murder babies, enslave their mothers and sisters for their short miserable lives, then let them all be murdered as well, also contributing to the slavery of humans, and the use of grains and feed that are wasted on these animals since they’re meat/eggs wont compensate all the food and water they lived to consume. Also polluting the environment with their wastes.
Fuck the company if they lose money, they’re murderers, why do they have “rights”? Slavery works this way, if that’s the philosophy it’s ok there are still humans being slaved right? Like this exact company as well. If they dont slave humans they will lose money, poor rich ass people who own giant corporations, oh.
Also, instantly in this gif, it’s nothing fast or painless when they are buried alive or asphyxiated to death. Let alone their mothers and sisters, who have their beaks mutilated and live inside insignificant small cages over each other, and wont even see the light of day on their miserable lives.
Just so you can have omelet, your momentary palateous pleasure . So fair, yeah.
Paying for this is no “love”
Every beating cell on my body finds this extremely diabolic and grossly unacceptable, just as if they were ANY other species.
Harvey makes the best expressions. He also thinks he’s a cat.
friendly reminder that
“Cats commonly have Pasteurella bacteria as part of their natural flora. While this bacteria is ubiquitous in cats and does them no harm, it is DEADLY to birds. Even if your cat just bats your bird or gets saliva on your bird, you could end up with a dead bird.”
“Any animal bite should be considered extremely serious, possibly life-threatening. The bacteria found in the saliva and the mouth of a mammal can cause fatal septicemia (infection in the bloodstream) of a bird in very short order. Cat bites should be considered the most dangerous, as the Pasteurella bacteria commonly found in the feline mouth, are extremely hazardous to birds. Even a simple puncture by a tooth can result in a fatal infection. Scratches from claws are also extremely dangerous, as the risk of infection is very real.”
You also shouldn’t let birds eat or drink the food you touched your month, if you want to share let them have their part first or simply take a piece off.
I hope you send to Brazil
